My style approach is found in the up-close details of nature. Each small line weaves a pattern inspired by nature where simplicity and complexity meet. This tension is at the center of my “slow art” process where nature’s details are captured by small line work. Patterns of nature are so incredibly intriguing: Fractals, spirals, meanders, waves, foams, tessellations. Building on this foundation, bird species take a central subject with 10,000 species of birds in a population of 50 billion birds. My goal is to draw people and nature closer together and generate a dialogue and love for wildlife and the places they inhabit.
