I started my journey as an Artistic Blacksmith in 2018. I had no previous experience, but my husband, Dave, was a certified Farrier with Blacksmith training. He got me started, and then I met Bob Alexander, a Master Blacksmith. I received a scholarship through the Missouri Folk Arts Program and completed an apprenticeship with Bob. Dave and I have been in “full swing” since then. We both discovered a passion for creating with fire, steel, and a hammer! You can find us in the shop or at festivals, laughing as we hammer our way through life, and creating art that will last a lifetime.
